Manaltheeram Ayurveda Beach Village, gives you an opportunity to pamper yourself with a heavenly experience. Enter the world of holistic healing and let Ayurveda and meditation restore your physical, mental, spiritual and emotional equilibrium.
Situated at Thiruvananthapuram, the capital city of Kerala, India, Manaltheeram is as outstanding as its sister concern, the famous Somatheeram Ayurveda Resort.
Ayurveda is an ancient science of life that emerged out as a branch of "Atharvaveda" at about 5000 years ago. Ayurveda deals with prevention on cure. Ayurvedic medicines and supplements are made up of substances taken from nature. Therefore, they have no side effects and patients do not become physically or psychologically dependent on them.
Yoga is essentially a spiritual discipline based on an extremely subtle science which focuses on bringing harmony between mind and body. It is an art and science for a healthy living. The word "Yoga" is derived from the Sanskrit root 'yuj' meaning "to join", "to yoke" or "to unite". The practice of Yoga leads to the union of individual consciousness with universal consciousness.
Rich with tradition, culture and overwhelming natural splendor, the resort offers traditionally styled bungalows, built in wood and sporting antique, carved doors and pillars, it embraces comfort and opulence with luxurious facilities. The ambiance created in the traditional way channels bio-energies. The surroundings can be best described as a "Return to Nature".
Manaltheeram provides ayurvedic treatments for a variety of ailments and health & beauty care. Based on our experience in the field we have tailor made ayurveda residential holistic programmes for "Panchakarma" and "Wellness"; backed by a team of Ayurvedic doctors and male/female masseurs to provide the best result in shortest possible duration.
“ The property is excellent. Their private beach is maintained very well is very clean. Swimming pool is just too good. Small lawn next to the cottage is brilliant idea. The plants smell good. Just take a walk in morning on beach side and you'll be fresh. Best part is you can get tea at beach side or your room and that would be part of breakfast. Breakfast has very good variety.”
A truly amazing experience
“This stunning resort is a great ideal destination for anyone wants to escape hustle bustle lifestyle and enjoy nature and relaxing moments. After spending one week there, I completely understand why this property got so many positive feedback from customers. Working as Quality Auditor in Restaurants/ Hotels industry, I always look for simple details and perfection in term of service and facilities. I can say I am very demanding. But Manaltheeram Ayurveda Beach Village suprised me by your well trained staff, noncommercial facilities like most of resorts. ”
Rejuvenation week in Manaltheeram
“Resort is focused on Ayurveda treatment and doing it very well. The personal approach of entire staff is excellent as well as all given Ayurveda treatments and Yoga classes. Food was fresh with wide buffet or a la carte choices. Overall resort environment is breathtaking. One week stay is very short but in addition to all day activities in resort we did two trips to Elephant rehabilitation center in Kottur and to Backwaters in Poovar. Both are worth to do.”
Best Ayurveda Resort
“I recently spent 8 days at Soma Manaltheeram Ayurveda Resort. Daily treatments with Herbal oil Massages and Body Purification Therapy (Shodana Shikilsa) makes you feel re-born! A very varm and friendly place where every-one in the staff, from reception to Ayurveda clinic, makes the most for you to feel totally cared for.”
“The location of this property is absolutely brilliant, my stay here was absolutely blissful. They strictly are an ayurvedic resort and promote wellness and good health, so their Buffet is full of healthy meals and is vegetarian. However, they will cater to your needs if you would like non veg during any of your meals. The cottages and rooms across the entire property are quaint and lovely and it has its own direct access to the beach, where they have their caretakers who lay out the beach beds for you. The beach is very clean and i enjoyed baking in the sun :). I hope to go back here again soon.”
