Obese people are also at a higher risk of developing high blood pressure, Type 2 diabetes, high cholesterol, gynaecologic problems, erectile dysfunction, fatty liver, etc.
According to the three dosha system, obesity is caused by an aggravation of kapha, which leads to production of toxins that result in the increased production of fat tissues in the body.
